For Real Estate Investors, the West Coast Is Hot and Florida Is Not

West Coast cities saw double-digit increases, while Florida cities experienced declines due to rising costs and lower rental profits. Nearly 9.2% of investor sales were at a loss, but median capital gains remain high. Investors bought more high-end and single-family homes, while townhouse purchases fell. Investor market share stayed flat at 18%.
